TYPES OF BEAM

Following are the major types of beams:

1) Cantilever Beam: A beam fixed at one end and free at the other end is known as cantilever beam.

2) Simply Supported beam : A beam supported at its both end is known as simple supported beam.

3) Overhanging beam: A beam having its end portion extended beyond the support is known as overhanging beam. A beam may be overhanging on one or both side.

4) Fixed Beams: A beam whose both ends are fixed is known as fixed beams.

5) Continuous beam: A beam supported on more than two supports is known as continuous beam.

Projectile

A particle which is moving under the combined effect of vertical and horizontal forces is called Projectile.

Following terms are used in projectile:

1) Trajectory: It is the path traced by a projectile in the space.
3) Velocity of projection: It is the velocity with which a projectile is prjected.
3) Angle of projection: It is the angle, with the horizontal, at which the projectile is projected.
4) Time of flight: It is the total time taken by a projectile, to reach maximum height and to return back to the ground.
Range: It is the distance between the point of projection and the point where the projectile strikes the ground.

After time t , The equation of the path of [projectile or the equation of trajectory is given by

WHY DO WE NEED METRO IN KATHMANDU ?

Lets go  straight into points :

1) Increase in POPULATION and their means of transport

Population of Kathmandu is increasing by 6-10 % per year. This will automatically increase the means of transportaion as people always want to travel in their own vehicle. The rate of increase of vehicle is doubling per year. (Link)
That means, no matter how wide the road will be, it will  always be insufficient to run this many vehicles.
" बाबुरामले बाटो बढाए - हामी खुसी छौ , तर अब बाबुरामका बाउ नै आएर बाटो बडाएनी पुग्दैन !! ठाउँ नै छैन , येत्रो हुन्छ  "

2) FAST and carry large number of people 

Metro is fucking fast !! If you are reading from outside countries, then you know it ! I can see in the movies, videos and pictures.
Also, it can carry large number of people at a single time. As the population of Kathmandu will always increase, there will be large number of people going in their work/offices and they can easily go/come by Metro. Tried people will prefer METRO instead of bike or cars. They would prefer private vehicle only for holidays/visits.

3) Use of Clean energy and NO POLLUTION 

As metro uses electricity, we can easily afford its energy consumption. New hydro-powers will be built by the time we will finish constructing METRO.
Also, pollution level will decrease drastically in Kathmandu.
" बती पनि बाल्नी, मेट्रो पनि चड्नि !! स्वछ हावा खानी , निरोगी बन्नी , काम गर्नी , पैसो कमाउनि " !!

4) YES WE HAVE MONEY 

Question will arise, Do we have enough money to construct METRO in KATHMANDU ?
YESSS !!
Its not a 1 year investment, we can separate certain percentage of Budget every year. If its not sufficient we can either take loan or give it to International Company !! ( BOOT गर्नी )
BOOT : Build,Own, Operate, Transfer (१०-२० वर्ष पछि नेपाल को हुन्छ )

"पैला बजेट बाट खर्च गर्नी, नत्र ऋण लिनी !!!  ADB, World Bank के का लागि !! देन भने , मेट्रो चाहियो भनेर मै letter लेखौला !! "


5) UNDERGROUND or OVERHEAD/ELEVATED

Another question is, do we have enough space to construct metro in Kathmandu roads ?
AGAIN YESS !!
We can either construct elevated metro or underground. Elevated metro can be made on the center of Kathmandu roads. It takes less than 2 m space for erecting columns and no matter how much it takes on the air !!
Also, study can be made to construct under the existing road. But, it seems a bit impossible coz of high Ground Water Table in Kathmandu and low bearing capacity of soils !!

( I thought of writing this while I was standing for whole 1 hour going for my exams ; Kausaltar-Kalimati !! It was fucking hot , congested and I was stressed !!

Why do I share my videos ?

It's been a year I have been making videos for the page A Common MAN. I have made lots of videos mainly on national issues and social causes. It hasn't been that easy to make these things reach to the audience. I use my own personal Facebook account, different Facebook groups and pages to promote my videos.
Sometime I am asked, Why do you share your own videos ? Why don't you let them in page without sharing ?
And it is especially asked by my friend circle and some friends in Facebook.

So, here is the answer:

1) Because you don't share them.

No matter how good or bad it is, you guys (my friends) just watch it or leave a reaction. I had made a video that has reached from 2,000  -  2,00,000 views but I find very few friends sharing any of them. I don't have any bad feelings about it, I am OK with it.

2) Because it carries something

I don't make video that doesn't have meaning or message. Before uploading any video, I research on its topic, try to go deep on on it, write a good script, act on it, shoot and edit .... everything myself. So, there is a lot of hard work on a single video. More than the work I put into it, there is a special message I always tries to convey. For me that is more important than my effort.
Then I simply think that this should be watched by many people and this must reach to many people. People will not come on your portal in this competitive modern media world unless you advertise it, you must advertise your work.
I am not capable of advertising them with money , hence I used the portal mentioned at the beginning.

3) Because I have a PLAN

Making videos is just a start of ACM. I have a life long plans for ACM to do more and more activities. (The plans will be revealed along with the works sooner or later )
So, I want people to join ACM. I want a ACM family.
Each time I share a video, numbers of people visit the page, like the work and also message sometimes. Many new people share the work too !!
And it feels good to see those reactions.

Basically these are the major reasons !!
Now we have a small team as well !! I wish to work with these amazing people ahead !!

When I meet new people and my old friends they say me " You are doing good works man. Keep it up. "
Sometime I find friends who never chat in Facebook talking about my videos when we meet.
It feels good to hear about it .

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT ABILITY !!

Making video is not just what I want !!
When I make videos or work on any project I go through it before and after the video release.
I presented the problems of visually impaired and a differently able person in the recent video.

Before writing script I went through the problems of these people and how they have been struggling in day to day life. I think I have done justice with the script and addressed the problem properly.

But I have said in it, the dream of a person who spend most of his life on wheelchair to climb up THE MOUNT EVEREST. I really didn't have any idea whether this thing has been done or not when I was writing script. But after posting the video,  I searched some successful people with different ability.

Actually it has been DONE !! And its done by Arunima Singh of India. She was pushed from a running train by some robbers in 2011 and one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee. Obviously, she can walk with  artificial leg but to dream to climb Mt. Everest with it is the greatest inspiration to everyone.


She said , "When I was undergoing treatment at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for four months, I could not do anything on my own. But then one day I decided to climb the Everest."

HOW TO SOLVE THE SUBMERGENCE/ FLOODING PROBLEM OF KATHMANDU VALLEY ?

Submergence or Flood in Kathmandu is not a new topic to discuss. Daily we see lots of pictures of different areas flooded with water in social medias. We also saw a bike being pulled out from the flooded water and a small kid being drowned on drainage water. This is not the problem of this year alone. It has been a problem from recent few years and it will obviously be one of the major problem in coming years.

So, What is the solution ?

 Here they are:

1) Rain Water Harvesting

Rooftop rainwater harvesting should be made compulsion in the houses to be made in Kathmandu valley. Feasibility study should be done in most of the existing houses whether rooftop rainwater harvesting can be done or not. And it should be installed by the government and house owner partnership.

Sudip Simkhada & HIS LIFE STORY !!

Sudip Simkhada

Everybody born differently[natural birth, operation, lack of health cure etc.] in different place. Similarly I Sudip Simkhada born on my village Darkha-7[according to old division] Dhading in 1994-sep-23/2051- ashoj-7 as a eldest son of my parent. My parent gave me birth after three years of their marriage. At that time Darkha was very remote area. People had to walk 3 hours to reach transport. But in rainy season they had to walk whole day to reach transport. My father was teacher in my village. He called health assistant on my birth. I was born after 48 hours of pain from my mother. When I got birth, I can’t cry. I cried after 7 days[a week] of my birth.

My growth or development didn’t take properly. So my parent took me in Kathmandu further treatment. They spent a lot of money and we visit multiple doctors. At last none of treatment found and I had proved as disable and my disability is cerebral palsy[CP]. We return back to our village.
