THE HAPPINESS WAS OVERLIFTED BECAUSE IT WAS INDIA

Nepal U-23 made a history by winning the gold medal after 23 years with 2-1 victory over India in SAG in India.

Hard fought in semifinal against Maldives has raised a serious hope among all the Nepalese people for Gold Medal. Boys started the game slow and under pressure but in second half they really came back in the game. The amazing free-kick by Prakash Budathoki in 65th minute made the golden dream alive and second goal by Nawayug Shrestha brought it home. The hard fight and enlightening support resulted in extreme joy and happiness which was over-flooded in Facebook and Twitter and will surely continue for long time. This will long last as best memory of their life for the players and off course for we all Nepali people.

This joy, extreme happiness and a lot of support is not only because we won the Gold medal, its because we won the final against the mighty INDIA. The pain, the sorrows, the tears that India gave us for more than 6 months is what we felt during the match and when the final whistle was blown, that pain, that sorrows and those tears changed into a greatest relief, extreme joy and happiness. May be they don't take as their biggest lost but we certainly enjoyed as a biggest success and as a victory over evil. If it would have been any other country than INDIA, yes we would be  happy but you agree or not the happiness and joy was over lifted because it was fu.... India, it was that India which made us down, which tried to ignore our minimum right and which forgot the humanity for long time.

Certainly boys had proved by winning back to back final. Every one has great hope in this young team. Hope they will do their best ahead. And I wish government will provide certain awards for the team as encouragement and will increase minimum facilities , build some stadiums and invest on football in coming days.
And we can certainly hope in Football, at least in Asian level and more....
